Inspiration:
Pretty much all the SD Derby Dolls. I love watching my team mates' amazing skills. Everyone seems to have something that they excel at.
Biggest Challenge:
I am not a big fan of skating backwards.
In 1991, 10-year-old Injurina Jolie laced up a pair of her sister's red patent leather skates and tried to roll around her gravel driveway. After quite a few skinned knees, she packed away her skates until January 2011, when she watched her first roller derby bout. She was so inspired by all the ass kicking that she joined the San Diego Derby Dolls 2 days later. By day, she paints murals and believes that the customer is always right. By night, she puts on her skates and knocks the snot out of anyone who gets in her way. A perfect balance.
