About the San Diego Derby Dolls

SDDD was founded in 2005 upon the attributes of athleticism, integrity and respect. SDDD is proud to be San Diego’s premier roller derby league, as well as America's Finest Roller Derby league, being the nations first and only hybrid league of both banked track (the inclined surface) and flat track (on the ground) roller derby. The league fights for dominance across the state and nation.

While their uniforms may be stylish and their names are playful, do not be fooled by their appearances: SDDD members are athletes that play competitive and full contact roller derby for your viewing pleasure. Roller derby combines the hard hits of football and hockey with the speed and excitement of basketball and soccer. Unlike the 70’s era roller derby, this is unscripted and 100% real. This kind of action can not be written.
